The responsibility of the safe pass rest with the over taking driver.

The driver must keep both hands on the wheel, except to momentarily operate driver controls.

If the mower stalls, the driver's first responsibility is to move mower to a safe position at least 10' off the racing surface.

The mower must come to a complete stop before driver can dismount.

Grid positions will be determined by pill draw and heat races.You must compete in all heat races to qualify for feature event and prizes, unless you have mechanical malfuntions....to be determined by tech. officials.

All starts will be rolling starts.

No on board communication equipment. Radio's etc....

All driver's must wear long pants, long sleeved shirt or jacket, full fingered gloves, leather over the ankle shoes. Must wear a neck brace, a DOT or snell foundation approved helmet. Must have a full faced sheild or goggles. Safety glasses are approved at track owner's discretion. All other padding is not required but highly recomended.

All DSLMRA events are $20.00 for non points events $30.00 for points events with $10.00 of that going to championship pot. 100% Payback 1st place 50% 2nd Place 30% and 3rd Place 20%.

All driver's must be a DSLMRA member to be ellagible for all points events. Membership fee's $10.00 Lifetime which also reserves your number in your class. For each additional class that you run it will be an additional $5.

Brush Guards are authorized only if the guard was originally manufactures for that mower. MUST BE STOCK, no modifications to the Brush guard. Must be mounted as it was intended from the factory.

Positively charged terminals must have a cover or heavy taped.

The body of the mower must be mounted in the center of the mower, no off set chasis( Not to Mow Outlaws).No off setting of the wheels both sides must be the same width. 6" on the left there must be 6" on right etc... Wheels may be of diferent sises from front to rear.

No cetrifical or torque converter type clutches.( Not administered to Mow outlaws)

Must have a shiftable type transmission of lawn mower orgin.( Not administered to Mow outlaws)

If you would like to run another class with your mower you may only go up in class.

If you are disqualified for any reason. You will recive 0 points for that race and you can not use that race as a drop race. Mower Eligibility

Events are open to all self-propelled type lawn mowers, main provision that the mower must have been desinged, mass produced, and sold commercially through a dealer network to mow residential lawns, it must remain suitable for lawn cutting, apart from modifications permitted in class builds.

The generally acceepted category is riding mowers and lawn tractors with rear tires of 20" in diameter and under.

All mowers must display the DSLMRA logo on the Left and Right side of the mower.

Numbers must be at least 5" high and displayed on the Left and Right side of the mower.

Fuel must be pump fule and available to the general public. Restrictions in the stock class.

Wheels may be after market or original manufacture and must be bolted on with axel end bolts for the front and shaft locking collars for the rear.

If OEM wheels are used at a minimum the right rear wheel must be welded with an 1/8" steel plate. The plate must secure the hub to the outer serface of the rim.

The wheels can be no smaller than 8" in the rear and 6" in the front.(Unless the Mower was manufaxtured with smaller rims and tires.

Tire with is 38" outside wall to outside wall max. Wheel base is no shorter than 42" axel center to axel center. Only exception is if the mower was originally manufactured with less than 42" or mow outlaw.

Must have a mower deck with no blades or you may use parts of the deck to resemble a deck.

The deck can't extend beyond 2" past the tire outside wall or recess beyond the outer edge of the running board.

The frame can be no lower than 4" to the ground at it's lowest point. The deck can be no lower than 21/2" at it's lowest point.

The mower will have a safty kill switch with a lanyard attached to the driver. The kill switch will be of commercial grade. ie 4 weeler, sea doo etc.

You must have an automatic throttle closing device.
